Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Ophelia Design. Each piece is handcrafted, carefully inspected, and securely packaged before shipment. Please read our shipping practices below.

1. Order Processing & Production Time

Under normal production conditions, most products are prepared and ready to ship within 1–3 business days after the order is placed.

Because our items are handmade and artisanal, production or preparation times may vary depending on order volume, material availability, and seasonal demand.

If an unusual delay occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible with an update.

2. Shipping Options & Delivery Timelines

Available shipping options and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout.

Standard Shipping: Once dispatched, standard delivery is usually estimated at 8–10 business days.

Express Shipping: If available at checkout, express delivery is usually estimated at 3–5 business days after dispatch.

Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather conditions, customs processing, local postal delays, or other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery times.

3. Tracking Information

Once your order has been shipped, tracking information will be provided when available.

Please allow some time for the tracking number to become active after the package has been handed over to the carrier.

4. Shipping Address & Customer Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

Please make sure your shipping address, phone number, and email address are correct so the carrier can contact you if needed.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, returned packages, or additional shipping costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated customer information.

5. United States Orders & Customs Duties

For orders shipped to the United States, standard customs duties are prepaid by us through our shipping/carrier process whenever applicable. This means that U.S. customers should not normally be charged standard import customs duties upon delivery.

However, any state sales taxes, local taxes, remote area surcharges, special carrier fees, address correction fees, storage fees, or additional charges imposed by local authorities or carriers may remain the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

6. International Orders Outside the United States

For destinations outside the United States, buyers may be responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country unless otherwise stated at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures or carrier-related issues outside our control.

7. Lost, Delayed, or Returned Packages

If your package appears to be delayed or lost, please contact us so we can help you review the tracking information and communicate with the carrier when possible.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect the package, additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.

8. Damaged Packages or Items

Each item is carefully inspected and securely packaged before shipment.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item, the packaging, and the shipping box.

Damaged or defective items will be reviewed according to our Return & Exchange Policy.
