Welcome to Ophelia Design. By browsing our website or placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before using our website or purchasing from our store.

1. Handcrafted & Artisanal Products

Each item is individually handcrafted with care and attention to detail.

Due to the handmade and artisanal nature of our products, slight variations in color, texture, dimensions, glass patterns, solder lines, wirework, and material details may occur. These natural variations make each piece unique and are not considered defects.

Product photos are provided to represent the general design, style, and appearance of each item. Because each piece is handmade, the final product may vary slightly from the photos shown.

2. Order Placement & Customer Information

By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for providing the correct shipping address, contact information, and any other details required to complete your order.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

3. Production Time

Many of our items are handmade, custom-crafted, or made to order. Production times may vary depending on the item, order volume, material availability, and seasonal demand.

Estimated production or processing times may be displayed on the product page, during checkout, or communicated by email. These timeframes are estimates and not strict guarantees.

We always do our best to prepare and ship orders as quickly and carefully as possible.

4. Shipping, International Deliveries & Customs

We pack all items with great care using secure packaging to help ensure safe transit.

For orders shipped to the United States, standard customs duties are prepaid by us through our shipping/carrier process whenever applicable. This means that U.S. customers should not normally be charged standard import customs duties upon delivery.

However, any state sales taxes, local taxes, remote area surcharges, special carrier fees, address correction fees, storage fees, or additional charges imposed by local authorities or carriers may remain the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Once a package is handed over to the shipping carrier, carrier delays, weather conditions, customs processing, local postal delays, or other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery times.

For destinations outside the United States, buyers may be responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country unless otherwise stated at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures or carrier-related issues outside our control.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

Each order is carefully inspected and securely packaged before shipment.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item, the packaging, and the shipping box.

Eligible cases will be reviewed and handled according to our Return & Exchange Policy.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Final Sale

Due to the handmade and artisanal nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

All sales are final once the product has been crafted and shipped, except in cases where an item arrives damaged or defective and qualifies under our Return & Exchange Policy.

Please review all product descriptions, dimensions, colors, photos, and order details carefully before completing your purchase.

7. Product Use, Handling & Safety

Our stained glass pieces are decorative items and should be handled with care.

Glass products may be fragile and may include solder lines, metal details, hanging chains, wirework, or other handcrafted components. Customers are responsible for safely displaying, hanging, cleaning, and handling their items after delivery.

Once the item is successfully delivered in good condition, the buyer assumes responsibility for its maintenance, display safety, and proper handling.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use, handling, installation, hanging, display, or misuse of our products.

Our total liability for any order shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in that order, except where prohibited by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, product photography, branding elements, text, images, and content displayed on this website are the intellectual property of Ophelia Design unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorized reproduction, copying, redistribution, modification, or commercial use of our content or designs is strictly prohibited.

10. Payments

All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Payment must be completed before an order is processed.

Payments are securely processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store full credit card details on our servers.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective once posted on this page.

Your continued use of our website after any changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
